We were out sailing in the sound one day this summer. Since you share the sound with all kinds of ships, you need to stay alert. This biggie passed our small boat with not much distance. Playing chicken race was not an option. Imagine our joy when we saw the ship was from Tokyo. Maybe it left Tokyo from the same port that ships the cars we import, who knows? The ship was huuuuge, they would probably not have noticed if they had run us over.
