Welcome to my blog!
I love photography so this blog will showcase my pictures. You will see (hopefully) some nice pictures, some bad pictures and some experimental pictures (that would be the pictures I take when I dare push the settings button on my camera beyond Auto).

Raining on my own parade
By now you probably think I'm a terrific photographer (wink). Therefore, I think it's time to post a blooper. Have a look at this one and feel free to laugh it up. I saw an amusing little parade of these birdies and clicked a pic. An analyze of the result: the sun is glaring so much the birdies are glowing. That's bad. And the daylight is so bright, there's not much contrast in the picture. That's also bad. And I didn't get the focus quite right so the picture isn't sharp. That's very bad. So a blooper it is even though the motif was funny.

I wouldn't have known it was a blooper if you hadn't told me - can I still laugh? And why are some of the birds wearing masks?
ReplyDeleteSure, you can laugh yourself silly if you want to. Regarding the mask thing, I'm guessing it could be the difference between younger and older birds or male/female.
ReplyDeleteAnd the answer is ..............
ReplyDelete....younger birds doesn't have the brown mask, neither does grownup birds that are still in their winter dress. This is a kind of seagull, btw.
