Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog!

I love photography so this blog will showcase my pictures. You will see (hopefully) some nice pictures, some bad pictures and some experimental pictures (that would be the pictures I take when I dare push the settings button on my camera beyond Auto).

Bombs away

One of the scariest sights you see when out walking. A birds butt in a tree you need to pass under. You never know when the bird will decide to let the bomb drop. I've managed to dodge the bullet so far but I'm bound to run out of luck sometime. This is a dove by the way, lots of doves in Helsingborg.

  1. A!!! Glad to see that you're out and blogging again!

Well - I've been bombed twice (that I can remember) - and there's nothing like a fresh bomb dribbling down your face to help you appreciate those who've managed to duck them. Over here, we worry more about the magpies bombing you with their beaks during their mating season - lots and lots of eye injuries because of them.

  2. I've never been bombed on my walks. However, one nasty little bird decided to give me a free gift when I was standing in my sisters yard last year. Not in the face though.
Every summer we have seagulls nesting in our office parking lot. My colleagues need to keep one eye on the sky whenever they're coming and going. The seagulls are just as keen on attacking as your magpies if they feel you're a threat to their nest or their babies.

  3. Wow - our Aussie seagulls are much more refined. They'll dive in for a hot chip, but I've never heard of them attacking.

  4. In the harbour they might dive for food but at the office, they want to scare you away from their nest. So they dive at your head to make you go away. They're stupid enough to put the nest on the ground between the bushes at the parking lot. Not very private, is it?
