Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog!

I love photography so this blog will showcase my pictures. You will see (hopefully) some nice pictures, some bad pictures and some experimental pictures (that would be the pictures I take when I dare push the settings button on my camera beyond Auto).

Big drops

Drops on a leaf after the rain. I took this with the macro setting on my camera. This picture called for a closeup to give best effect. It was taken during fall last year when there were leaves on the trees and bushes.

There's a train

This is the train to Vanersborg where my brother lives with his family. Four days ago, his family got bigger,  Baby Ozzy was born. I wish I was on this train on my way to visit.

Two for one today

We have winter now but we have a bit to go before we're at the same level as above pictures. These were taken last winter. Today I'm posting two pictures because they have a connection. Find the sleeping ducks from the first picture on the second picture!! These were taken from the bridge at the small boats harbour, I have to cross the bridge to get to the pier where I often stand watching the ferrys to Denmark.

Cobwebs

One morning when I was out way too early for my own good, I managed to take this picture of the cobwebs on the iron fence that surrounds the old cemetary. There's still dew drops in it. I had to find the best angle before I could take the picture because you can't really see the web if the light doesn't fall on it from the right angle. Anyway, after some riverdancing on the pavement, this is the result. I seldom go for the easy shot.

The bats are out

Naah, it's not bats, it's just a bunch of crows flying around in early evening. But it looks cool, doesn't it? You could imagine that they are bats, right? I took the picture from my living room window. Lots of pictures are being taken from that window...

Morning frost

Well, whoop-de-doo... morning frost on the roof panes of the house opposite mine. And frozen moss as well. Is this the winter we will get down here in southern Sweden? In that case I'll happily skip the season totally and move on directly to spring without passing Go.

Unexpected decorations

How does a person lose a shoe without noticing? I saw this piece hanging on the cemetary gate on one of my photo trips and had to take a picture. The shoe was hanging there for several days. At least it's not as scary as finding a shoe in the middle of the road not knowing what happened to the owner.

Rainy season

My blogbreak turned out to be longer than I had planned, sorry about that. Amazingly we don't have winter yet here in southern Sweden. The average daily and nightly temperatures are too high, so we're still in fall season. I don't mind taking a break from snow, ice and frozen snot. The only downside is it's raining a lot instead. And it's raining today as well. So I thought this picture of my wooden birdie looking out my rainy window would fit todays blogpost.
