Welcome to my blog!
Welcome to my blog!
I love photography so this blog will showcase my pictures. You will see (hopefully) some nice pictures, some bad pictures and some experimental pictures (that would be the pictures I take when I dare push the settings button on my camera beyond Auto).

This is my city
A view of my city. The picture is taken from the sundeck of an incoming ferry from Denmark. To the front left, you see the lighthouse. There's a couple of benches in front of it where I often sit in the summer watching the ferries. To the back left, you see the City Hall with the high clock tower. To the right, you see the old castle tower, Karnan.

Music is like breathing, you can't live without it
I took a time-out from blogging during my summer holidays. As Hagrid says in the books about Harry Potter: I've been away for me health. Among other places, I went to visit my brother and his family. I took crazy many pictures of my nephew and todays picture as well. This is my brother playing on his guitar. He has no clue I took the picture but since he's reading my blog, he will find out very soon! (Hi Patric).

The gay ducks pond?
I don't know, can ducks be gay? I went to this pond one day to take pictures of the ducks and this is what I saw. Only male ducks swimming in pairs. My guess would be that the female ducks were nesting somewhere minding their eggs but I cannot be sure, can I?

Flamingo bath
The flamingos were out taking baths. The above bird is even flappier than the dove I saw bathing in a fountain in Helsingborg a couple of months ago. At least I managed to get a picture this time with the bird in full-on splashing mode. I'm very happy about that, LOL! The wingspan on these guys are phenomenal, several pictures turned out bad because I wasn't quick enough when zooming out. Seeing the flamingos stretch their wings out and flap them to dry them is a sight, I promise. The body is pale pink, almost white, but the wings are different shades of pink with wingtips in black.
